Below is my current studio policy for 2025. I am going to have the “simple” version on top, and the “way too much information” version on the bottom. Please let me know if you have ANY questions. Thanks!!

Simple Policy:

• Lesson rate as on March 17th, 2025 will be:

             30 minutes= $34           45 minutes=$50        60 minutes= $66 

• Please give me at least three days’ notice if you need to cancel a lesson.
• If you need to leave your regular lesson spot, please give me at least two weeks’ notice.
• If you need to be out for an extended period of time and would like to retain your spot, let me know, and we’ll work out a plan.

Way Too Much Information Policy:

My family and I currently survive off of one income - The studio policy is here to ensure we can pay our bills and stay in business year after year.

One element that will help keep prices low is my slightly modified cancellation policy. Most pro-studios in the area don’t allow credits for missed lessons - if you miss, you pay, no exceptions. Since I am a one-person operation, I can make things a little more flexible. If you give me at least three days’ notice, in most cases, I will be able to fill the spot. Anything less, and it is MUCH more difficult to find a replacement. If I find a replacement, there is no charge. I will let you know at the next lesson if I was able to find a fill-in.

If you need to vacate your spot, please give me at least two weeks’ notice. I do have a waiting list, though it still takes time to make permanent changes to my schedule. If you need to leave your spot abruptly and can’t give me two weeks’ notice, I kindly ask that you cover the two weeks of lessons, just so we are covered financially if I can’t get a student in right away. If you cannot attend lessons for an extended period of time and would like to retain your spot, let me know, and we can work out a compensation plan that is fair for both of us.
