My main motivation to become a dealer of music equipment is the lack of quality service at Guitar Center and Daddy's Junky Music stores. Buying equipment from the chain stores can be a nightmare. The sales people have very little knowledge of the products and usually just try to sell you on what they have. I want to be able to help my students get what they want cheaper than Guitar Center.
One thing I don't want my studio to become is a full-blown music store. My main focus will always be on teaching. The idea of having equipment available to my students is to assure you that you will get high quality, great sounding products that haven't been thrashed on in a music store before you buy them. Every guitar and amp that comes into my studio is thoroughly tested by me before it is put on the floor. In general, I can beat most of the chain store prices too.
The products that I purchase are all things I believe in. I WILL NOT SELL JUST ANYTHING! Peavey has been kind enough to start working with me recently. They are one of the few huge companies that still respect the small people who want the best for their customers. I decided to work with Peavey because they offer great sounding, quality equipment at reasonable prices. They also have a great warranty (5 years on most items).
If you have any questions or are interested in purchasing a piece of equipment, please let me know.
